Founder and Lead Consultant, Adam Chicoine, developed a passion for science and medicine early in life after losing close family members to cancer. Those experiences inspired his pursuit of a career dedicated to advancing research and improving human health.

Adam earned a BS in Microbiology from the University of Vermont, where he conducted melanoma research at the Vermont Cancer Center. In 2009, he joined the Ragon Institute of Mass General, MIT, and Harvard, where he was introduced to Flow Cytometry and helped support cutting-edge immunology research, contributing to publications in journals including Nature, Science, and Immunity.

In 2014, Adam led the development of a state-of-the-art Flow Cytometry and Cell Sorting core facility within the Human Immunology Center at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. He later helped establish the Single Cell Genomics Core, integrating high-parameter flow cytometry with single-cell RNA sequencing to support researchers across academia and industry. These efforts ultimately contributed to the formation of the Center for Cellular Profiling (CCP), a leading translational research core supporting advanced immune profiling, single-cell genomics, and spatial transcriptomics initiatives.

In 2022, Adam transitioned into industry, where he built and led the Immune Profiling Platform at GentiBio, a cell therapy company focused on engineered regulatory T cells. There, he developed integrated flow cytometry and RNA-sequencing workflows, operational infrastructure, and cross-functional training programs to support therapeutic development.

In 2024, Adam founded Prime Cytometry, LLC to provide flexible, expert-level consulting services to academic labs, startups, and biotechnology companies. Prime Cytometry was created to help organizations access specialized expertise in flow cytometry and single-cell technologies without the need for full-time internal resources.

Throughout his career, Adam has contributed to numerous high-impact publications and collaborative research programs, helping scientists translate complex cellular data into meaningful biological insights.
